Job summary

Tenet Healthcare in Texas seeks an Anesthesia Technician to support the operating room team. You will assist physicians in monitoring patients, and you will prepare drugs, fluids, anesthetics, and equipment required for procedures, while setting up and maintaining anesthesia equipment.

Responsibilities include following established competencies during the introductory period and performing other related duties as assigned; a sign-on bonus may be available for this role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience as surgical attendant or nursing assistant in acute care or ambulatory surgery environment preferred.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) required on hire; BLS within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in monitoring patients and preparing drugs, fluids, anesthetics and equipment for procedures.
• Set up, operate and maintain monitoring and anesthesia equipment.
• Complete established competencies within introductory period and perform other related duties as assigned.
