Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking an Anesthesia Technician at Dearborn Hospital to assist the CRNA and anesthesiologist in preparing anesthetizing locations and ensuring daily department efficiency. You will handle equipment and supplies, maintain knowledge of anesthesia gear, and comply with infection control standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Anesthesia/surgery experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists the CRNA and Anesthesiologist in the preparation of anesthetizing location.
• Provides support for the efficient daily functioning of the Anesthesia Department relative to equipment and supply needs.
• Maintains working knowledge of the name and function of all anesthesia equipment.
• Maintains all equipment in accordance with Infection Control standards, CD guidelines and other pertinent regulations.
