Job summary

CommonSpirit Health's St. Rose Dominican, San Martín Campus in Las Vegas is seeking a Certified Anesthesia Technician to support the Anesthesia Department.

You will prepare, calibrate, and test anesthesia machines and monitors, organize meds and supplies, and assist with patient positioning and line insertions to ensure OR readiness. Ideal candidates bring CER.A.T., BLS-CPR, 6–12 months' experience in acute care, and at least 3 years of lead or supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Six months to one year experience in acute care.
• Certified Anesthesia Technician (CER.A.T.).
• Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR).
• Three years lead or supervisory experience.
• Flexibility in scheduling.
• AHA RQI competency post‑hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, and test anesthesia machines and monitors.
• Ensure medications and supplies are organized per protocols.
• Assist anesthesiologists with patient positioning and line insertions.
• Perform equipment maintenance and decontamination.
• Respond to urgent needs while adhering to infection control guidelines.
