Job summary

Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL is seeking an Anesthesia Tech to support pre-, intra-, and post-operative care. The role involves preparing supplies, setting up equipment, and maintaining sterile rooms under supervision.

Responsibilities include equipment calibration, stocking, basic troubleshooting, and processing supply orders through the Lawson system. Strong anatomy knowledge and 1 year of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Graduate or Associates Degree.
• Experience: High school Diploma with 1 year in anesthesia tech, patient care tech, EMS, or related field.
• Knowledge: Basic anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Assist during pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative procedures under supervision.
• Set up supplies and equipment for anesthesia procedures and maintain room turnover.
• Audit, stock and maintain anesthesia supply stations and calibrate equipment.
• Provide basic equipment troubleshooting and order supplies using Lawson system.

• Position: Anesthesia Tech
• Location: Evanston, IL
• Full Time/Part Time: 40 hours per week
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 12:00noon-8:30pm

Position Highlights

• Position: Anesthesia Tech
• Location: Evanston, IL
• Full Time/Part Time: 40 hours per week
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 12:00noon-8:30pm

What You Will Do

• Under direction of supervisor, assist during pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative procedures
• Pre-operative, pre-procedure supply and equipment set-up and room turnover.
• Auditing, stocking and maintenance of anesthesia supply stations, calibration of POC equipment, high-level sterilization procedures and documentation
• Provide basic level equipment troubleshooting
• Order supplies via the Lawson Material Management System

What You Will Need

• Education: High School Graduate or Associates Degree
• Certification: N/A
• Experience: High school Diploma with 1 year experience as either an Anesthesia Tech, Patient Care Tech, or Emergency Medical Tech or Associate’s Degree if no clinical experience.
• Unique or Preferred Skills: Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology. Ability to occasionally lift (patients and equipment), as well as push and/or pull heavy objects.
