Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian/The Allen is seeking an Anesthesia Technician II for day shift. You will assist anesthesiologists and CRNAs during induction, maintenance and emergence, and set up sterile equipment for regional anesthesia and invasive monitoring.

You’ll maintain equipment and uphold infection control standards to support safe, cost-effective anesthesia care. The role requires on-site presence at NYP/The Allen, with a Monday–Friday 6:30am–2:30pm schedule and ASATT preferred.

Qualifications

• Preferred ASATT certification for anesthesia technicians.
• High School Diploma or GED required, plus BCLS certification.
• At least 1 year of experience as an anesthesia technician.

Responsibilities

• Provide approved assistance to Anesthesiologists/CRNAs during induction, maintenance and emergence from anesthesia.
• Assist with placement of regional anesthetics and invasive monitoring devices.
• Set up sterile equipment and maintain supplies for anesthesia care.
• Ensure sterility, cleanliness and infection control in work areas; report malfunctions.
