Albany Med Health System is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to support the Anesthesiology team during day shifts in Albany, NY. The role focuses on preparing and maintaining anesthesia supplies and equipment, and aiding with room turnover and infection control for every case.

Under supervision of licensed providers and/or RNs, you will manage carts, drug boxes, and monitoring equipment, and assist with emergency procedures to ensure patient safety and smooth anesthesia delivery in the operating

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain anesthesia supplies and equipment.
• Assist with Anesthesia Delivery Systems; Equipment, Instrumentation, and Technology.
• Support room turnover and infection control in the Anesthesia Department.
• Maintain inventory of anesthesia machines, carts, and drug boxes.
• Collaborate with nursing staff on case/room turnover and patient care procedures.
• Assist with monitoring equipment setup and emergency procedures as needed.
