Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, Idaho is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to join the Surgical Services Department. This role supports anesthesia teams before, during, and after procedures, handling equipment, supplies, and sterile technique.

The position is 20 hours per week with a weekday training schedule; benefits begin Day 1, including health insurance and PTO accrual, reflecting Saint Alphonsus’ status as a recognized employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in a Hospital Anesthesia Department preferred.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Develops knowledge of anesthesia equipment and supplies.
• Cleans and checks instruments and equipment for safe anesthesia procedures.
• Provides direct service to surgeons, anesthesiologists, and anesthetists.
• Works with anesthesia team and other OR staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare anesthesia supplies pre- and post-operatively.
• Restock supplies and assist with equipment preparation between procedures.
