Job summary

AdventHealth Orlando is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to support the anesthesia team in a fast-paced peri-operative setting. The role includes equipment setup, monitoring, sterile supply management, and assisting with patient care in the operating room.

Day shift, full-time hours, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits from day one. This position requires strong English communication, basic computer skills, and healthcare exposure to ensure patient safety and smooth operating room

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• 1+ year of healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist anesthesia professionals with the delivery of patient care.
• Respond to and investigate all anesthesia machine alarms and report malfunctions.
• Manage inventory of supplies, ensure stock is within expiration dates, and secure medications.
• Assist with preparation and maintenance of sterile supplies and medications.
