Qualifications

• Three years of revenue cycle, coding, or auditing experience, including anesthesia claims.
• Knowledge of CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10-CM and anesthesia time reporting.
• Experience reconciling encounters and reviewing documentation for claim accuracy.
• Proficiency with EHR, practice management or billing systems, and Excel for analyses.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile schedules with anesthesia records and posted charges; investigate missing encounters and interface exceptions.
• Review anesthesia records for accurate times, handoffs, and binding documentation before charge release.
• Validate anesthesia coding, base/time units, modifiers, and provider attribution with coding staff.
