Job summary

Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists in Houston, TX seeks an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) for the Anesthesia Department. The role covers anesthesia planning, induction, maintenance, recovery, pain management, and critical patient monitoring in a high-acuity setting.

You will work with board‑certified clinicians and the emergency team to provide safe, individualized care for diverse patients, including critical cases, ensuring documentation and equipment readiness are maintained

Qualifications

• LVT licensed in Texas with strong anesthesia knowledge.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical veterinary anesthesia experience.
• Proven ability to monitor anesthesia and manage perioperative care.
• Excellent communication and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia and sedation support for surgical, diagnostic, and interventional procedures.
• Collaborate with clinicians and staff to ensure safe, efficient patient care.
• Adapt anesthesia management based on patient condition and procedure.
