Job summary

HonorHealth in Scottsdale, AZ, seeks an experienced OR Equipment Technician to operate, inspect and maintain anesthesia-related devices in the Operating Room-Main. You will support licensed anesthesia providers and ensure equipment readiness for procedures.

Responsibilities include coordinating preventive maintenance, assisting with setup and turnover, and maintaining accurate inventory with Biomed collaboration. Per diem schedule offers day shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates in healthcare, electronics or equivalent preferred.
• Other operating room equipment operations or related healthcare experience required.
• 2 years Anesthesia tech, equipment tech or surgical technician/technologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates, inspects, troubleshoots, and calibrates equipment in the OR.
• Assists licensed anesthesia providers with equipment setup and supplies.
• Maintains equipment inventory in collaboration with Biomed.
• Coordinates preventative maintenance and vendor communications.
• Supports staff during turnovers and emergencies as needed.
