Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Per Diem OR Equipment Technician for the Osborn Medical Center in Scottsdale, AZ. You will operate, calibrate and maintain operating room equipment and support anesthesia teams during surgical cases.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, and prior OR equipment or related healthcare experience is preferred. BLS and related certifications are required per the job description.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates in healthcare, electronics or equivalent preferred.
• 2 years OR equipment or related healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates, assesses, coordinates, calibrates and maintains all equipment within department.
• Assists anesthesia providers in acquisition, preparation and application of anesthesia equipment and supplies.
• Prepares and maintains patient monitoring devices and anesthesia delivery systems.
• Maintains equipment inventory in collaboration with Biomed.
• Provides support for routine and complex surgical cases and assists with equipment troubleshooting.
