Fusion Anesthesia is currently seeking to expand its certified coding staff. Candidates should be self‑motivated and possess strong written and verbal communication skills. A minimum of 3 years of anesthesia‑specific coding experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Coding and data entry for anesthesia services using a variety of record formats
• Perform pre‑billing coding audits
• Review and resolve coding‑related claim payment issues
• Maintain and apply knowledge of CPT, ICD‑10, and HCPCS coding conventions, medical terminology and human anatomy
• Maintain and apply knowledge of coding rules and regulations for government and commercial payers by state and region
• Communicate with providers to obtain accurate answers to coding‑related queries and to obtain necessary data for coding and billing
• Collaborate with coding team members
• Interact with billing staff to resolve coding and billing issues
