Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking an Anesthesia Support Technician to maintain anesthesia equipment and assist with patient care in the operating room. The role supports the Anesthesiology team and helps ensure epidural patients receive timely attention.

Experience with hospital equipment, aseptic technique, and infection control is preferred. On-site, part-time hours with a per diem classification offer a flexible arrangement in a busy clinical setting.

• Prior experience and knowledge of hospital equipment, practices, aseptic technique and infection control standards preferred.

• Maintains anesthesia supplies and equipment in surgical areas, and demonstrates knowledge of this equipment and instrumentation.
• Assists Anesthesiologist with care of Epidural patients.
• Meets with Vendors and Schedules Inservices for new products to meet the needs of the Anesthesia Department and our Patients.

Hourly Rate: $20.69 - $30.95The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant’s experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
