You will mentor engineers, establish best practices, and guide critical technical decisions across the mobile stack with backend and design teams. This role offers ownership, technical excellence, and opportunities to influence product architecture and team growth in a people-first culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years Android development experience with lead/principal roles.
• Mastery of Kotlin, Coroutines, and Flow.
• Proven track record defining mobile architecture for large apps.
• Experience with GCP interactions or mobile-backend integration.
• Strong ability to drive consensus and mentor senior engineers.
• Experience writing extensive unit and UI test suites.

Responsibilities

• Establish architectural patterns and best practices for a new Android implementation.
• Mentor engineers as a starter lead, training and onboarding new hires.
• Architect complex Android solutions and optimize networking integration.
• Lead mobile-vertical decisions on architecture and integrations.
• Collaborate with Distinguished Engineers to align with standards.
• Oversee consistency of design system across the Android codebase.
