Job summary

IMDiversity is seeking an Application Programmer to partner with the UCSB based research team to design and build an Android-based smartwatch application. The app will record and store heart rate data, pre-programmed audio notifications, and audio data bursts for a two-week period.

The ideal candidate will have prior app design and QA experience, and must demonstrate the ability to work in mobile environments, particularly with smartwatches and tablets.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in app design.
• Experience working with smartwatches and tablets.
• Experience in QA processes and debugging.

Responsibilities

• Design and build an Android-based smartwatch application.
• Continuously test and debug the designed app.
• Collaborate with the project team in regular meetings.
