Job summary

Central Bank is seeking an on-site Android developer to own full lifecycle mobile app work in Jefferson City, MO (and Overland Park, KS as needed). You will build in Java and Kotlin, implement XML layouts, and apply Jetpack Compose in production banking apps.

You will collaborate with security-aware teams, manage Gradle-based builds, integrate Firebase services, and help release to Google Play while following SDLC processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in Android app development in a production environment.
• Proficient with Java, Kotlin, XML, and Jetpack Compose.
• Experience with Gradle, multi-module projects and release troubleshooting.
• Banking or security-sensitive domain experience preferred.
• Experience with RESTful services, JSON, and XML is desired.

Responsibilities

• Develop Android apps using Java, Kotlin, XML, and Jetpack Compose.
• Maintain and enhance production banking applications.
• Follow SDLC and document changes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines.
• Support Android and Wear OS features and Google Play distribution.
