Job summary

Sonos Inc in Boston is seeking an Android Engineer to advance our mobile app experiences. You will implement new features, shape architecture designs, and mentor teammates, using Kotlin/Java, Kotlin Multiplatform, and related tools.

Collaborate with PM, UX, and engineers, apply telemetry and data analysis to improve performance, and deliver robust, scalable Android components for the Sonos ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field plus 2 years of experience in the offered position or related position.
• Experience programming for Android in Kotlin and Java to develop consumer electronics apps and navigation/Play integration.
• Experience shipping production features in an Android app available on Google Play Store and leading API/navigation design.

Responsibilities

• Implement new features and experiences for the Android Sonos app.
• Create architecture designs and lead parts of major navigation APIs and telemetry instrumentation.
• Collaborate with engineers, PM, and UX to deliver capabilities, and mentor teammates in best practices.
