Qualifications

• Experience programming for Android in Kotlin/Java to develop and maintain consumer electronics companion apps.
• Experience shipping production features in an Android app on Google Play, navigation, content browsing, and playback controls.

Responsibilities

• Implement new features and experiences for the Android Sonos app and ensure high quality.
• Create architecture designs and lead parts of major navigation APIs and telemetry instrumentation.
• Collaborate with engineers, PM, and UX to deliver capabilities for developers using the Sonos app.
• Mentor teammates in best practices for software development and participate in Agile processes.
