Job summary

Fanatics Collect is seeking an Android Software Engineer to build and improve Android applications and internal tooling powering our marketplace operations. You will work at the intersection of engineering and marketplace operations to translate operational challenges into scalable technical solutions.

You’ll partner with product managers and engineers to deliver robust Android experiences, write clean, tested code, and contribute to reliability and performance of the app while documenting tools

Qualifications

• Professional software engineering experience with a focus on Android application development.
• Experience developing Android applications using Kotlin and modern Android development practices.
• Understanding of Android application architecture, lifecycle, networking, data persistence, and UI development.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, maintain, and improve Android applications for Fanatics Collect and Marketplace Operations.
• Build internal tools to streamline marketplace workflows.
• Collaborate with Marketplace Operations to translate needs into technical solutions.
• Debug production issues using logs, monitoring, and analytics.
• Write maintainable, well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
• Contribute to the reliability and performance of the Android app.
• Create documentation for tools and processes.
