Job summary

Fanatics Collectibles is seeking a Software Engineer, Android to build and enhance Android applications and internal tooling for our marketplace operations. You will work across engineering and operations to translate real-world challenges into scalable technical solutions.

You will partner with product managers and engineers to ensure reliable customer experiences, investigating issues and contributing to architecture improvements while writing well-tested, maintainable code.

Qualifications

• Proficient Android development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Android architecture, lifecycle, networking, data persistence, and UI.
• Experience integrating mobile apps with backend services via APIs.
• Familiarity with testing, debugging, source control, code reviews, and modern workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, maintain, and improve Android apps and capabilities supporting Fanatics Collect and Marketplace Operations.
• Build internal tools and solutions to help operational teams manage workflows.
• Collaborate with Ops to translate pain points into technical solutions.
• Investigate and resolve production issues using logs, monitoring, and analytics.
• Improve automation, tooling, and access to information for teams.
