Robinhood is seeking an Android Engineering Intern to join their elite team and help expand the mobile experience. You will own meaningful work end-to-end, collaborate with experienced engineers and a top design team, and ship software used by millions daily.

The role is based in Menlo Park, CA or New York, NY with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week, and offers a market-competitive compensation structure plus perks.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a full-time degree-seeking program with an expected graduation date of Winter 2027 or Spring 2028.
• Solid foundation in software engineering.
• Interest in front-end work, specifically visually driven product design and shaping user experience.
• Familiarity with Android components and experience building or contributing to at least one Android app.
• Experience building, maintaining, or contributing to open-source projects.
• Familiarity with Kotlin, RxJava 2, Dagger 2, and other libraries in our tech stack.
• A self-starter mentality and a proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Partner with a dedicated mentor who will guide you from onboarding through shipping, deepening your understanding of our tech stack and financial domain along the way
• Collaborate with our award-winning design team throughout the full product lifecycle
• Contribute to new features and help build products that will change how America views finance
• Explore and build innovative Android UI/UX
• Work with technologies such as Kotlin, RxJava 2, Retrofit/OkHttp, Dagger 2, and Room
