Job summary

Robinhood is seeking a Software Engineering Intern, Android, for Summer 2027 to contribute to the mobile experience and ship features end-to-end. You will work on real projects on a dedicated team, collaborating with engineers and designers to create user-friendly experiences at scale.

Based in our US offices (Menlo Park or New York), this role requires being on-site several days a week and offers mentorship, hands-on Android development, and exposure to Kotlin, RxJava, Retrofit, and other

Qualifications

Enrolled in a full-time degree program with expected graduation Winter 2027 or Spring 2028.
Solid foundation in software engineering.
Interest in front-end work and shaping user experience.
Familiarity with Android components and contributing to at least one Android app.
Experience contributing to open-source projects.
Familiarity with Kotlin, RxJava 2, Dagger 2, and related libraries.
Self-starter mentality and proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

Partner with a dedicated mentor from onboarding through shipping, deepening your understanding of our tech stack and financial domain.
Collaborate with our design team throughout the full product lifecycle.
Contribute to new features and help build products that will change how America views finance.
Explore and build innovative Android UI/UX.
Work with technologies such as Kotlin, RxJava 2, Retrofit/OkHttp, Dagger 2, and Room.
