Job summary

onXmaps, Inc. is hiring an Android Engineer III to join the Hunt team in Montana. You will build and scale an Android experience for hunters, contribute to architecture decisions, and embed AI-driven experiments into daily workflows.

You will collaborate with engineers and product managers, own code quality and test coverage, and support onboarding through the season while travel to corporate offices or basecamps may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent.
• At least 4 years of professional software development with 2+ years in Android (Kotlin/Java).
• Evaluate technologies by merit, stability, performance, and readability; write maintainable, well-tested code.

Responsibilities

• Design and build an Android app focused on engaging experiences for hunters.
• Collaborate with engineers and PMs to integrate services cleanly.
• Contribute to testing (unit, integration, acceptance) and code reviews.
