Job summary

Fetch is seeking an Android Software Engineer to build and maintain a world-class mobile experience. You will work with backend services and partners to deliver engaging gameplay and rewards features on a modern 150+ module Android stack.

You will collaborate in a small, cross-functional team including design, product, data science, and other engineers. The role emphasizes tackling complex problems with polished, user-centric solutions at scale.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on Android development and release experience.
• Strong command of Android fundamentals and modern tools (Kotlin, Jetpack, Compose).
• Experience with unit/UI testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso, Compose Testing).
• Experience with dependency injection frameworks (Hilt, Dagger).
• Hands-on experience with local persistence (Room).
• Ability to contribute to architecture, modularization, and large codebases.
• Proven collaboration in cross-functional teams to ship features.

Responsibilities

• Build Android features for Fetch Play gameplay and rewards, collaborating with backend teams.
• Integrate with partner APIs and marketing tech systems for accurate rewards attribution.
• Optimize shoppability flows from discovery to purchase planning.
• Collaborate with product and design to surface relevant offers for users.
• Monitor engagement metrics to improve feature adoption and rewards redemption.
• Work with backend, data, and marketing to enable new partner integrations.
