Job summary

Nimble is standing up a brand-new native app component platform in North America. You’ll design and build reusable Android components and internal SDKs that other app teams across the org will depend on — not just ship one-off features.

This is a ground-floor seat on a team still being defined, incubating inside the client’s internal studio before it spins out as its own business unit.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional native Android development.
• Experience building and owning a shared UI component library, design system, or internal SDK.
• Strong Kotlin and Android architecture skills (multi-module Gradle, Hilt/Dagger).
• Experience distributing internal libraries via a Maven/Gradle package registry or similar tooling.
• REST API integration and cross-platform data contracts.
• Able to contribute as an early engineer on a brand-new platform team.

Responsibilities

• Design and build reusable Android components and internal SDKs used across apps.
• Own architecture, conventions, and pipelines for the shared component platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to communicate tradeoffs.
• Help establish tooling, CI/CD, and documentation to accelerate adoption.
• Mentor teammates and contribute to design-system decisions.
