Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (BS/BA)
• 7+ years of experience in mobile app development
• U.S. citizen required
• Experience with Swift, Kotlin, React Native, or Flutter
• Proficiency with RESTful APIs, mobile security protocols, and cloud-based backends (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government)
• Knowledge of mobile data storage and testing frameworks
• Ability to develop software for high-stakes operational environments

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and deploy native or cross-platform mobile apps (iOS/Android) for DHS field operations
• Ensure DHS and federal cybersecurity standards are met, including data encryption and secure authentication (FISMA)
• Integrate mobile apps with backend enterprise systems and real-time data feeds
• Create intuitive UI/UX for field use under varying conditions
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot, and perform updates for continuous availability and reliability
