DigitalWave in Racine, WI is seeking an Android Developer with strong Node.js microservices experience to own critical delivery areas. You will partner with data teams, mentor peers, and handle an on-call rotation while improving performance and reliability.

You will build RESTful APIs powering core products and lead design reviews to avoid costly mistakes, delivering scalable software with a growing user base.

Qualifications

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs powering core DigitalWave products.
• Own on-call responsibilities and collaborate across data, mentoring, and engineering teams.
• Contribute to design reviews and ensure scalable, well-architected microservices.
• Demonstrate ownership and accountability in a fast-paced Racine environment.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with data teams to surface insights from production systems.
• Maintain the Prioritization service during peak traffic.
• Mentor teammates and harden systems after stress tests.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs powering core DigitalWave products.
• Write clean, well-tested code that scales with the user base.
• Lead Node.js design reviews to prevent costly mistakes.
