Job summary

Geo-Next-Generation-High-School in Baton Rouge, LA, seeks an Ancillary Teacher (Music, Art, Physical Education, Computer, or STEM) for a part-time, 10-month schedule. Plan and implement blended learning, create an engaging environment, and support student achievement across content areas.

You will collaborate with Special Education staff, attend meetings, enforce classroom routines, and perform duties before/after school as needed, reporting to the Principal.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in content area.
• Valid (State) Teaching License preferred.
• Strong technical skills, particularly in integrating technology in the classroom to drive academic achievement.
• Demonstrated volunteer or community service.
• At least two years of successful teaching in an urban environment.
