Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment in Shoreline Amphitheatre, Mountain View, CA is seeking an Ancillary (Lawn Chair) Supervisor to lead the Lawn Chair Crew on show days, ensuring smooth operations, great guest service, and proper chair inventory.

You will collaborate with the Ancillary Manager, manage setup and breakdown of rentals, handle sales with POS, and keep work areas stocked and organized while observing safety and local labor rules.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the Lawn Chair Crew during show days.

  • Oversee distribution, collection, and organization of lawn chairs.
  • Assist with setup, operation, and breakdown of ancillary areas (lawn chair rentals, signage, equipment).
  • Handle sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems.
  • Ensure work areas are organized, clean, and fully stocked during events.
  • Communicate with the Ancillary Manager and other departments to support operations.
  • Oversee post-show chair cleanup and proper storage of chairs.
  • Coordinate team rest and meal periods in line with state/local law.

THE JOB

Shoreline Amphitheatre is seeking an Ancillary (Lawn Chair) Supervisor. This position is responsible for supervising and coordinating the Lawn Chair Crew during show days, ensuring efficient operations, excellent customer service, and proper inventory management of lawn chairs. This role works closely with the Ancillary Manager and may assist with broader ancillary operations as needed. This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and enjoys leading a team in a fast-paced event environment.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
  • Supervise and coordinate the Lawn Chair Crew during show days
  • Provide excellent customer service by answering guest questions and resolving minor issues promptly
  • Oversee the distribution, collection, and organization of lawn chairs throughout the venue
  • Assist the Ancillary Manager with the setup, operation, and breakdown of ancillary areas (lawn chair rentals, signage, equipment)
  • Handle sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems or handheld devices
  • Ensure work areas are organized, clean, and fully stocked throughout the event
  • Communicate effectively with the Ancillary Manager and other departments to support event operations
  • Oversee post-show chair cleanup, including directing staff and ensuring all chairs are properly collected and stored
  • Coordinate team rest & lunch periods in accordance with state and local law and ensure coverage.

COMPENSATION

The expected compensation for this position is: $20.00 USD - $25.00 USD Hourly ** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
