Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in healthcare revenue cycle.
• Experience working with Epic EHR.
• Understanding of medical insurance (Commercial, Medicaid and Medicare) and the claims process.
• Preferred: High School diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Manage aged accounts and respond to payer inquiries to resolve billing issues delaying reimbursement.
• Develop reports for billing, collections, and denials for each service line.
• Collaborate with partners and vendors to ensure timely information sharing.
• Analyze patient accounts, identify billing issues, and determine solutions with insurance companies.
• Update patient demographic information and correct patient accounts as needed.
• Act as liaison between patient and payer to provide clear billing information to expedite payment.
• Conduct research to provide clear account information and report trends to management.
• Recommend quality or process improvements to perform duties more efficiently.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and align with company mission.
• Attend meetings with Revenue Cycle and Ancillary teams as needed.
