Job summary

Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium is seeking a Project Cost Control Specialist to join our Anchorage-based team. The role supports cost control across multiple projects, performing data collection, budget coding, forecasting, and financial reporting under varying supervision levels.

Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and progressive cost-control experience in engineering, construction, or grants projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Experience in cost reporting, scheduling, and project controls preferred.
• Proficiency with databases and Microsoft Office Suite; strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision or independently, support cost control for projects by collecting data, ensuring proper cost coding, and preparing bi-weekly financial reports.
• Assist with data collection tools and cost management systems; monitor budget variances and forecast expenditures.
• Lead or participate in developing, updating, and optimizing data collection tools; mentor junior staff as needed.
