Responsibilities

  • Oversee the willed body program (BAS) for LSUHSC-New Orleans.
  • Coordinate scheduling of courses with internal departments and external entities.
  • Provide course estimates and coordinate contracts and facility use agreements.
  • Invoice and coordinate payments with internal departments and external entities.
  • Supervise the BAS coordinator and morgue staff.
  • Communicate with donors, potential donors and families; manage death certificates and return of cremated remains.
  • Maintain high professionalism and ethical standards.
