Job summary

St. Peter’s Hospital, part of Peter’s Health Partners, is seeking a full-time Anatomic Pathology Tech for our Pathology Lab. Under supervision, you will assess and prepare daily work, handle slides, charts, calls, and send-out preparations, and support conferences and consultations.

You will help keep SOPs current, troubleshoot issues, complete CE, access manuals, and utilize Copath for tracking. Strong organization, independence, and focus are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Keeps policies, procedures, and competencies up to date.
• Troubleshoots minor problems in a timely manner.
• Completes required CE and follows SOPs for specimen handling.
• Uses Copath to track specimens and locate patient/test information.
• Assists with procedures and small projects as needed.
• Performs annual lab safety reviews and restocks supplies.
