Responsibilities

• Sign-out of general anatomic pathology cases, including surgical pathology and both GYN and non‑GYN cytology.
• Intraoperative consultations.
• Rapid on-site evaluation of FNA adequacy, renal biopsies, and biopsy touch preparations.
• Review of abnormal hematology slides.
• Participation in interdisciplinary conferences, including tumor boards and specialty‑specific meetings.
• Performance and sign‑out of post‑mortem examinations.
• Participation in departmental quality assurance activities.
• Providing consultative input to referring physicians regarding laboratory findings.
