Responsibilities

• Sign-out of general anatomic pathology cases including surgical pathology.
• Conduct intraoperative consultations.
• Perform rapid on-site evaluation of FNA adequacy.
• Review abnormal hematology slides.
• Participate in interdisciplinary conferences.
• Sign-out of postmortem examinations.
• Engage in departmental quality assurance activities.
• Provide consultative input to referring physicians.
