Dedicated to providing the highest quality health care services to all New Yorkers with compassion, dignity and respect, and regardless of immigration status or ability to pay.Opportunity Details : Typical work schedule is 9 : 00 AM-5 : 00 PMWeekend Coverage is usually once a month and includes holidaysDiagnostic evaluation of surgical pathology specimens, frozen sections, participation in conference / tumor boards, and autopsy sign-outReview and sign out of surgical pathology biopsy, excision, and resection casesReview may include screening and sign out cytopathology cases Prioritize malignant cases and submit all first-time malignant cases for daily intradepartmental consensus conference for peer review and concordanceEnsure completion of cases within the required turnaround time (TAT)Participate in internal and external quality assurance and performance improvement activities, departmental meetings, and facility-wide training as neededPerform other clinical activities as requested by the Service Director or Department ChairQualificationsBoard Eligibility and / or Certification in Anatomic or Clinical Pathology by the American Board of PathologyExperience in Surgical Pathology and Cytopathology preferredNew York State Physician LicenseWages and Benefits include : Annual Base Salary : $240,000
