Peloton is expanding its Connected Planning capabilities and is seeking an experienced Anaplan Technical Lead to support the delivery of scalable, high‑impact planning solutions. This is a hands‑on leadership role focused on designing, building, and optimizing multi‑dimensional Anaplan models across Finance, Supply Chain, and Sales domains. As an Anaplan Technical Lead, you will work closely with business stakeholders and project teams to translate requirements into effective solutions, while guiding development activities and ensuring high‑quality delivery across the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Model Development
- Partner with clients to understand business processes and gather detailed requirements
- Translate business needs into functional requirements, use cases, and technical designs
- Design and build Anaplan models, including modules, lists, dashboards, and actions
- Develop scalable, multi‑dimensional model structures aligned with best practices
- Enhance and optimize existing models to support evolving business needs
Delivery Execution
- Participate in full project lifecycle activities including requirements gathering, design, build, testing, and deployment
- Lead or support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployment, and post‑go‑live activities
- Develop and maintain model documentation and technical artifacts
- Ensure model performance, data accuracy, and usability
Data Integration & Technical Support
- Support data integration efforts between Anaplan and source systems (inbound/outbound)
- Assist in data migration, validation, and reconciliation processes
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide sustainable solutions
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead development workstreams and coordinate tasks across team members
- Mentor and support junior team members in Anaplan modeling and best practices
- Collaborate with Solution Architects and functional leads to ensure alignment with overall solution design
Practice Development & Sales Support
- Contribute to continuous improvement of Peloton methodologies, accelerators, and intellectual property
- Support pre‑sales activities including solutioning, estimating, and proposal development
- Participate in client presentations and demonstrations as needed
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Technology, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in an Anaplan Technical Lead or senior model builder role
- Experience delivering at least 3 end‑to‑end Anaplan implementations
- Strong expertise in Anaplan model building, including lists, modules, dashboards, and actions
- Experience working with multi‑dimensional models across:
- Financial Planning (FP&A)
- Supply Chain Planning (S&OP)
- Sales Planning
- Demonstrated experience with full implementation lifecycle (requirements, design, build, test, deploy), preferably using Agile methodologies
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills
- Strong understanding of data integration concepts and tools
- Ability to decompose complex business and technical concepts into scalable solutions
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and lead team members effectively
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Passion for business analytics and planning solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Anaplan certifications (e.g., Certified Model Builder, Solution Architect track)
- Experience integrating Anaplan with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Experience with enterprise planning transformations across Finance and/or Supply Chain
- Experience mentoring team members and contributing to practice growth
Compensation
Peloton provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, business needs, and geographic location. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95,000-$165,000 (Base Compensation). Peloton also offers bonus opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package including:
