Job summary

Sigma Computing is seeking a Commercial Solutions Engineer in the San Francisco area to act as a trusted advisor during the presales cycle. You will run discovery sessions, build prototype solutions, and present customized demonstrations to prospects and customers.

This role partners with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to translate complex analytics needs into Sigma platform capabilities. You will manage multiple engagements, travel up to 10% as needed, and contribute to wins by

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical/analytics field or equivalent experience.
• Experience implementing production BI solutions or proofs of concept.
• Cloud data warehouse experience with Snowflake, Redshift or BigQuery.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer challenges and run targeted discovery sessions/workshops.
• Build and present customized demos for customers, trade shows, and webinars.
• Deliver product, technical, and security responses to RFPs/RFIs.
• Explain business value of Sigma platform to stakeholders at all levels.
