Job summary

Storable is seeking a Software Engineer II for the Analytics Platform to build and operate services and pipelines that deliver trusted data and analytics to customers and internal users. You’ll work across APIs, Snowflake, and data modeling to ensure fast, accurate results.

You will design efficient data models, support interactive dashboards, and own the quality and cost of the platform through automated tests and monitoring. Hybrid work in Seattle is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience building analytics features or data products for customer-facing applications.
• Strong SQL skills and modeling large relational datasets.
• Experience moving data between systems with incremental loads and idempotent processing.
• Experience designing secure, multi-tenant analytics.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate production services and APIs delivering analytics to customers and internal users.
• Own pipelines moving data from databases and third-party systems into Snowflake.
• Design data models and pre-aggregations for interactive queries across dashboards and AI agents.
• Improve platform reliability with tests, freshness checks, and cost management.
• Collaborate with analysts and teams to turn reporting and analytics into shipped features.
• Design integration and recovery strategies considering source-system behavior.
• Build secure multi-tenant data access patterns for analytics products.
• Participate in on-call rotations to improve reliability and observability.
• Use AI-assisted tools to improve speed and quality of development.
