Job summary

The Cigna Group seeks a Business Analytics Intern to support the Client & Customer Experience team in Bloomfield, CT. You will work on 1-2 business cases, pull data, perform analysis, and prepare compelling presentations that influence strategy.

The internship runs 40 hours per week starting May 24, 2027. Housing may be available for interns living far from the Bloomfield office; visa and work authorization requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Rising senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to structure project plans and independently manage deadlines.
• Ability to partner across organizations and roles to influence and deliver work.
• Advanced knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau).
• Proficiency in analytics-focused coding languages (SQL, Python, or R).

Responsibilities

• Develop 1-2 business cases evaluating options and costs/benefits.
• Leverage data to solve business problems by identifying data needs and performing analysis.
• Identify business opportunities using trend analysis and mining operational data for insights.
