Job summary

The Cigna Group in Bloomfield, CT is seeking a Business Analytics Intern to support analytical work that informs Customer Experience strategies. You’ll work with the Business Analyst team across 1-2 projects, gather insights, and create compelling presentations to influence future planning.

You will collaborate with operations partners, develop data-driven recommendations, and present findings to stakeholders throughout the internship.

Qualifications

• Rising senior working towards a Bachelor’s degree (Business Analytics, Business, Economics, Math, Statistics or related field preferred).
• Strong communication (oral and written), presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to structure project plans and independently manage to deadlines.
• Ability to partner across organizations and roles to influence and deliver work.

Responsibilities

• Develop 1-2 business cases that evaluate options and assess costs/benefits to guide prioritization decisions.
• Leverage data to solve business problems by identifying data needs, pulling data from relevant sources, and performing analysis.
• Identify business opportunities using trend analysis and mining operational data for insights.
• Distill work into crisp presentations that educate, inform, and inspire action.
