Job summary

MAPEI is seeking an Analytics Specialist Intern to support Procurement and Transportation in Deerfield Beach, FL. This 12-week, full-time internship (May-August 2027) offers hands-on learning with the Purchasing & Logistics team, helping to develop dashboards, analyze data, and inform decisions using Power BI and Excel.

You will collect and analyze data across raw materials, POs, and supplier activity, evaluate freight costs, and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree in Data Analytics, MIS, Finance, Procurement, Logistics, or related field.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and interest in Power BI or similar reporting tools.
• Experience with data analysis, visualization, or database tools preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, and analyze procurement and transportation data.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance metrics.
• Use Power BI and Excel to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Analyze raw-material spending, purchase orders, and supplier activity.
• Evaluate freight costs, shipping performance, and transportation trends.
• Support data validation, reporting accuracy, and process improvements.
