Job summary

MAPEI S.p.A. is seeking an Analytics Specialist Intern to support Procurement and Transportation with data analysis, reporting, and business‑intelligence development. You will help build dashboards and reports to drive data‑informed decisions during the 12‑week summer program.

The role focuses on collecting and organizing data, identifying trends, and supporting performance measurement using Power BI and Excel. Strong analytical skills and curiosity are essential.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, MIS, Finance, Procurement, Logistics, or related field.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and interest in Power BI or similar reporting tools.
• Experience with data analysis, visualization, or database tools is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, and analyze procurement and transportation data.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance metrics.
• Use Power BI and Excel to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Analyze raw‑material spending, purchase orders, and supplier activity.
• Evaluate freight costs, shipping performance, and transportation trends.
• Support data validation, reporting accuracy, and process improvements.
