Job summary

PANTHERx Rare Pharmacy in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a seasoned Manager, Analytics Engineering to lead the semantic layer and data product development in a Databricks-based environment. You will design metric views, govern Gold/Silver data, mentor a growing team, and partner across Analytics, Data Governance, and IT to deliver trusted analytics and scalable data products for BI and AI model inputs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data/analytics engineering, incl. 2+ years in people management
• Deep expertise with Databricks Unity Catalog, metric views, and delta lake architectures
• Experience owning semantic layer functions and data product development
• Ability to articulate analytics engineering as distinct from data engineering and BI

Responsibilities

• Owns the Unity Catalog semantic layer as the canonical source of truth for metrics
• Designs and governs metric views, data mart architecture, and data products
• Leads data product development and reusable analytics assets for self-service discovery
• Partners with Analytics, Data Governance, and Data Engineering to ensure governance and alignment
