What you'll be doing

Leverage data from the warehouse to uncover insights into user behavior and identify opportunities to boost product engagement. Maintain and adapt Tableau dashboards to evolving business needs. Analyze member activity—including engagement, acquisition, retention, and revenue—to inform strategic decisions. Conduct ongoing product and marketing performance analyses, using tools to track customer journeys and improve user experience. Collaborate with BI and Engineering teams to resolve data issues and ensure data quality. Present insights to team members to guide business strategy and investments.

Experian Consumer Services is seeking a Data Analyst II to lead user behavior reporting and deliver actionable insights across teams. This hands-on role involves translating business needs into data questions, writing complex SQL queries, and building reports and dashboards. The focus areas include product analytics, user engagement, and performance trends, in collaboration with Product, Marketing, UX, and Tech teams.

Experience and Skills

• 3+ years of professional experience in an analytical/statistics-focused role within an internet environment.
• Proficiency in relational database theory and complex SQL coding.
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, Alteryx) and real-time dashboard development.
• Ability to analyze large data volumes and complex questions to produce clear insights using quantitative reasoning.
• Strong analytical thinking to interpret online behaviors and identify opportunities to enhance the user experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related fields.
