Job summary

Tecla is seeking an Analytics Engineer (Level 2) to join our data team with a focus on building and scaling our Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW). You will design and own core data models that serve as the foundation for analytics across the business, transforming raw data into reliable, well-governed, and reusable data assets.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in SQL for writing efficient queries.
• Deep understanding of data modeling principles and EDW structures.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and modern ELT workflows.
• Proven ability to design, build, and own end-to-end data pipelines and models.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Experience with orchestration tools (Airflow) and version control (Git).
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Data Modeling: design and maintain scalable data models for analytics.
• Own Core EDW Data Models: lead the source of truth for key business domains.
• Build and Optimize Data Pipelines: develop reliable ELT processes for timely data ingestion.
• Ensure Data Quality and Reliability across datasets.
• Drive Performance and Cost Efficiency of the data warehouse.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into durable data models.
• Enable self-service analytics with clean, well-documented datasets.
• Contribute to engineering standards and best practices for modeling and deployment.
• Provide production support for data pipelines and infrastructure issues.
