Becker Wright Consultants is seeking an Analytics Engineer in Colorado. The role blends building data foundations with delivering analytics and reporting using SQL and Power BI. You’ll work with operations, sales, and finance to provide actionable insights.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in analytics engineering or BI, strong SQL and Power BI skills, and experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Azure, and NoSQL data stores.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of analytics engineering, BI development, or a similar data-focused role.
• Strong SQL. you write clean, efficient queries and are comfortable with joins, window functions, and data modeling.
• Strong Power BI. You build data models, DAX measures, and polished, reliable dashboards.
• A builder’s mindset: you care about accuracy, documentation, and making data usable for non-technical teammates.
• Microsoft ecosystem. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and the broader Microsoft data and application ecosystem.
• .NET applications. Familiarity with .NET apps and architectures, including data structures and integrations.
• Azure integrations. Hands-on experience building data flows using Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, Functions, and APIs/webhooks.
• NoSQL data stores. Experience with Cosmos DB or similar.
• Salesforce schema. Understanding of Salesforce data model for CRM data.
• Version control (Git) and modern ELT tooling.
• Experience in hospitality, real estate, travel, or other operations-heavy industries.

Responsibilities

• Write, tune, and maintain performant SQL to transform raw data into clean, well-documented models teams can rely on.
• Design and build Power BI datasets, reports, and dashboards — and keep them accurate, fast, and easy to use.
• Own data quality: validate sources, catch issues early, and build the checks that keep numbers trustworthy.
• Partner with operations, sales, and finance to translate business questions into data models and reporting.
• Build and maintain data integrations — pulling from source systems and automating the flows that feed reporting.
• Document your models, metrics, and definitions so the whole company shares a single source of truth.
