Job summary

Perform Properties seeks an Analytics Engineer to turn raw, multi-source data into trusted, well-modeled datasets used across Investments, Portfolio, Operations and Finance. This hands-on role owns the transformation layer, building the models, tests, and documentation that feed reporting, BI, and AI for decision-makers.

Based in Santa Monica, you will sit between Data Engineering and Analytics, report to the Vice President, Data & Analytics, and help automate reporting while ensuring data

Qualifications

• 5+ years building data models and pipelines in analytics/BI roles.
• Advanced SQL skills and DBT or similar transformation tools.
• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• Strong requirements gathering and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Build data transformation layers delivering clean, unambiguous information to our data warehouse.
• Shift measurement decisions to silver and gold data layers for repeatable use.
• Enable self-service reporting and faster decision making across teams.
• Ensure data quality with lineage, automated checks and clear definitions.
• Support data governance and stakeholder engagement.
