Job summary

Westchester Medical Center Health Network seeks an Analytics Engineer to expand and optimize our enterprise data warehouse. You will build ELT pipelines and support multiple clinical and non-clinical teams, aiming to redesign data architecture for data-driven decisions.

The role emphasizes SQL-based data extraction, cloud data warehouses (Snowflake/Azure), dashboards (Tableau/Power BI), data governance, and collaboration with executives and operations to enable scalable analytics.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in SQL and data extraction/transformation concepts.
• Experience with cloud data warehousing architectures (Snowflake/Azure).
• Able to design and optimize data pipelines and data models.
• Strong communication and collaboration with multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Build ELT pipelines from diverse data sources into the EDW using SQL and cloud tech.
• Create and maintain data ingestion architectures for structured and unstructured data.
• Develop transformation logic to create structured data repositories across domains.
• Combine siloed data across locations for analysis tools and automation.
• Develop dashboards (Tableau/Power BI) for operational performance insights.
• Implement data cataloging, governance, and source control practices.
• Ensure data quality and governance with data lineage and documentation.
• Collaborate with executives, Operations, Data, and Design teams on data infra.
• Maintain data security standards for enterprise and patient data.
• Provide recommendations to improve data engineering techniques and architecture.
• Create data tools with cross-team collaboration for analytics solutions.
• Apply agile methods from related disciplines to deliver projects.
